Welcome to 2.Kompanie 3.Regiment 1st SS-Panzerdivision "Leibstandarte", the finest Waffen SS re-enactment/living history unit in the world! This is the basic unit handbook and SOP for the new recruit. It is designed to assist you in your transformation into an SS-Panzergrenadier. Within these pages are the requirements, rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures regarding everything that every SS-Panzergrenadier must know. There are a great amount of different reasons why a man may choose to re-enact, but there is one reason that binds us all together. History. History is the first and foremost governing factor in everything we as re-enactors must take into consideration. 2.Kompanie is not about what we as individuals believe we would have done had we been there, 2. Kompanie is about what he who was there did!

We want to accomplish two things in this Waffen-SS unit: 1) learn what it was like to be in the Waffen-SS in ww2 and 2) have fun doing it! Our entire unit SOP’s come directly from either Waffen-SS veterans or original wartime material. Countless ongoing hours of research goes into what makes us one of the best reenactment units in the world. Therefore, none of the unit SOP’s or guidelines shall at any time be altered unless pre-approved by the unit command. This handbook is going to see many future additions as further studies are made regarding our history. We can all be proud in the fact that everything we do is exactly the same as the original. With every event comes more authenticity, and as we strive together to be the best, comes the most important thing.. Kameradschaft! I wish you the best of luck in your career with 2.Kompanie.
